Healthy vision plays a vital role in a child’s learning, development, and confidence. At Amarillo Family Eyecare, we provide gentle, comprehensive pediatric eyecare for children at every stage—from infancy through the school years.

Pediatric EyeCare

EyeCare for Children

Children’s eyes develop quickly, and many vision issues do not present obvious symptoms. Regular eye exams help identify concerns early, allowing for timely treatment and support. Our doctors evaluate visual development, eye alignment, focusing skills, and overall eye health in a comfortable, welcoming environment.

We work closely with parents to explain findings, answer questions, and recommend care options that support both vision and long-term eye health.

InfantSEE®: Complimentary Infant Eye Assessments

All of the doctors at Amarillo Family Eyecare are proud participating providers in InfantSEE®, a public health program through the American Optometric Association.

InfantSEE provides a no-cost comprehensive eye and vision assessment for infants between 6 and 12 months of age. This one-time exam is designed to detect early vision concerns such as eye turns, focusing issues, or developmental eye health conditions — even before a child can speak.

Early detection is critical to healthy visual development. To schedule your baby’s InfantSEE appointment, simply call our office and let our team know you would like to book an InfantSEE exam.
